Travel Advice to Tangkuban Perahu

What is in your mind if I say Tangkuban Perahu Mount? A fable from West Java? One of active volcano in Indonesia? Believe me, you will get unforgettable moment when you reach it. There are two types of way you have to go through until you reach Tangkuban Perahu. The first one is the transportation route. It is about 30 kilometers from Bandung. You can take your car or a public transportation. You have to spent about fifteen thousand rupiahs for each person if you take public transportation, and if you just take your car, the only thing you have to pay is visitor and vehicle tickets and it is about twenty five thousand rupiahs. The second is hiking route. You need to hike the mount about 15 kilometers before reaching the gate. You only pay five thousand rupiahs for each person. In this route, sometimes you will meet people doing downhill there and some coffee farmers. Everything is on you now, you want take the transportation route or the hiking route. I recommended the hiking route if you really want to feel the adventure.

McDonald’s or IBM

This is my response to Damien Jackson’s article, McDonald’s or IBM

McDonald’s or IBM, an article by Damien Jackson, discusses the changing education policies in the United States. He said that the North Carolina recently implemented a new policy asking eighth graders to choose one of four high school pathway. He also said that in North Carolina, education has led to harsh new policies which have had harmful effects on many students. I agree with his opinion that the new policy will bring harmful effects on many students especially in psychology view and education view.

In the article, Damien Jackson writes his argument that “eighth grader is an awkward and uncertain time of physical and emotional change.” Many of students in this period are not mature enough to choose their pathway what they will become. In this period also, many of them still choose the future job by looking the external good. Continue reading

Abstrak

CuO atau tembaga oksida merupakan salah satu senyawa tembaga sederhana. CuO memiliki beberapa kelebihan yaitu memiliki temperatur superkonduktivitas yang tinggi, efek korelasi elektron, dan dinamika spin. CuO juga diaplikasikan di berbagai bidang antara lain sebagai katalis, baterai, sensor gas, penghantar panas, dan untuk energi surya. Struktur kristal CuO memiliki band gap yang kecil sehingga sifat fotokatalisis dan fotovoltaik sangat berguna. Dari sifat CuO tersebut, kita akan mengkarakterisasi senyawa tersebut melalui berbagai metode. Ada empat metode yang digunakan pada karakterisasi CuO ini, yaitu SEM (Scanning Electron Microscopy), EDS (Energy Dispersive Spectroscopy), XDR (X-ray Diffraction) dan FTIR (Fourier Transform Infrared Spectroscopy). Kesimpulan yang diperoleh dari percobaan ini antar lain pada sampel terdapat bahan pengotor sehingga pada pengujian terdeteksi unsur lain, sampel yang digunakan terlalu sedikit dan masih terdapat sisa sampel percobaan sebelumnya pada alat sehingga pada pengujian XRD senyawa mayoritas bukanlah senyawa dari sampel yang diuji, senyawa yang dimonan pada sampel yang kita uji memiliki rumus I3 Nb10 Se40, dan fluktuasi grafik menggambarkan ikatan-ikatan apa saja yang terkandung pada sampel yang kita uji pada analisis FTIR.
